Home cinema room step by step
Having a cinema in our home is possible with the right professional equipment. In Digital Cinema we take care of all aspects of the project, accompanying you in each of them. We detail our reform in this house in Son Vida.
- Space planning: in this case it was a room in the house that had no use. We planned the placement of the screen and the sound system, the sofa, the furniture… It was decided to structure it in two levels of height to place the seats and improve the visibility of the screen.
- Room fittings and acoustic insulation: In this case we used special wallpaper and acoustic panels to improve the sound quality. In addition, the carpet floor not only helps the acoustics, but is made of a material that is resistant to liquid stains.
- Wiring and lighting: you don’t have to worry about this part either. Our team will plan every detail so that the room is properly lit and the electricity points are correctly distributed throughout the space.
- Installation of audiovisual equipment: we are eager to tell you about the equipment used in this house. We detail them a few lines below.
- Furniture: in this house we chose to place 8 comfortable leather armchairs by Sofanella. They have a reclining backrest that can be comfortably operated from the armrest. The ultimate in comfort, design and technology.
- Room automation and room control instructions: our staff will provide you with the necessary information so that you can use the room completely autonomously. However, if you have any questions, you can contact us whenever you need to.
What audiovisual equipment does this room have?
We adapt to your needs and advise you so that your home has the most advanced equipment. We only work with exclusive brands that guarantee reliability and excellent quality.
In this house in Son Vida we installed:
- A Sony 4k projector and ceiling mount from Vogel’s with Dolby Atmos surround sound. It consists of B&W 700 Series speakers, the B&W CMW 7.5 S2 in-wall speaker model and two B&W CT12
- The front loudspeakers are hidden behind the 150-inch micro-perforated screen with a fixed frame. A Spectral cabinet was placed underneath the screen to house the electronics. An Apple TV or an AV receiver from Anthem are neatly tucked away in the cabinet, organising the space and making it more spacious and elegant.
- The entire cinema room can be controlled via a tablet, thanks to the EA-1 Controller from the Control 4 home automation system, with multi-scenario programming.
In addition, for the back of the room, a wooden piece of furniture was designed in which different elements could be included. A small fridge, a minibar, etc. with the intention of creating a comfortable cinema room.
Digital Cinema became a reality in 2005 in the centre of Palma de Mallorca to realise different audiovisual projects.
